Thing 13-Diigo
For this particular activity I chose to go with Diigo after looking at the comparisons. I thought that since not only would I be able to tag articles I would be able to add notes and highlight key information for my students. I figured I could put links etc up on to the wiki for them to look at and then read articles etc. I have decided that this year on my syllabus I am going to clearly state that students will be doing a lot of work online and with online sources and that should they not have Internet access at home then they need to be sure to stay after school or go to appropriate areas on the building during their study halls. I feel that it will be worth not only my time to set up and use these resources, but that it will also be worth the time in class to show my students how to use them. I think this helps gain student's interest but also to prepare them for the digital world that awaits them after Newington High.

I really like the features in diigo, but found (at least this past year) that I couldn't download the toolbar on to my school computer, which really minimized my ability to use it effectively. Hopefully more tools will open this year.
